Your account(s) will be held in Jersey, Channel Islands. We are a participant in the Jersey Bank Depositors Compensation Scheme. The Scheme offers protection for eligible deposits of up to £50,000. The maximum total amount of compensation is capped at £100,000 in any 5 year period. Certified photocopies of your passport(s) or Government Issued National identity card.
A certified copy of your current passport or national ID card is acceptable to confirm your identity. The copy must include your photograph, the document number, signature, date of birth, place of birth (to include town/city), gender and expiry date. The document must be certified within the last three months and be in English. Multiple nationality citizens will need to provide copies of all passports.
We only accept certified copies that have been translated into English providing both the foreign and English copy are certified. The certification/translation must be completed by an official translator who is independent to you.
This must be an original document dated within the last three months confirming your current residential address with clear initials and surname (We can't accept PO Box business or C/O addresses).

* E-bills are acceptable for proof of address, you will need to upload a copy of the email and the PDF e-document that you have received from the supplier/bank.
A photograph of the e-document will not be acceptable.
We may require additional information regarding source of funds and wealth in order to meet the due diligence requirements of the local regulator. We will contact you if this is required, however, if you can include copies of any relevant information with your application, this may assist with the account opening process.
We need you to provide us with certified copies of your photographic identification and proof of address to support your application. Certified copies are duplicates of documents which a person of professional standing has stated to be genuine copies of the original documents.
Documents must be certified within the last three months and be from different sources. If you are providing original documents that need to be returned, please tell us.
For passports and national identity cards, the full ID section of the document must be scanned and visible (e.g. machine readable lines of a passport). For any passports that don't have the applicant's signature on the key pages, you'll need to have a specimen signature for that applicant certified, as well as the passport copy.
We will only accept documents in English or a certified translation.
The certifier must sign and date the certified documents, and complete the certifier details below.
Should you require your documents to be certified by more than one certifier, please ensure all certifiers fill in the details below. You will need to print additional copies of this section for each certifier to complete.
Your relationship with the certifier must be of a professional rather than personal nature.
